Vintage Love: The Top Three Aircraft You Must Have From Our List
From the thousand lists of types and models of private aircraft, most people find it hard to pick the right one for them but worry no more as we tell you the top three aircraft first-time buyers must-have.
Third on the list is the 1950 Beechcraft B35 Bonanza. For the peeps who love the taste of vintage, this one is the best for you. Youtube vlogger John Smathers showcased his Beechcraft B35 Bonanza on his Youtube channel last year as he takes it into an evening flight. Youtube user John Homes commented, “What a sweet machine!” Beechcraft B35 Bonanza has a fuel tank capacity of 40 gallons and an engine one time of 210 SMOH.
Moreover, first on the list is the 1951 North American T28A. Hailing from the era of World War II, T-28 was born for the United States Air Force by North American Aviation. It is a radial-engine, tricycle-gear, tandem-seater trainer aircraft. “To me, the T-28 was the perfect trainer,” content writer Roger Peters shared. The North American T28A has an engine one time of 75 SOH and engine notes of Lycoming R1820-86B 1425 HP.
President of the Antique Airplane Association in Blakesburg, Iowa, Brent Taylor, says, “You have got a lot of guys who collect who are in their 70s and 80s, and they’re getting rid of their collections.” It is a great opportunity nowadays to get your hands on vintage aircraft.
“It’s not just about having fun with a neat old airplane; it’s about getting involved with the history of it, too,” added Taylor as he highlighted that the narratives of these collections must be kept alive.
